The moment I finished my Mewblade novels I made at points suggestions (threats) about rewriting it again, with changes in the story and especially changes in the characters. Most of this was so I could actually get some publishable books out of them that had nothing to do with Pokemon. Of course, this meant changing the cast.

Replacing the final enemy in the series was probably the most impossible design choice to come by since unlike the Aeons who have a relatively universal body structure. I knew I wanted something alien and unnatural but still retaining some unsettling human characteristics. I vaguely had an idea in mind, but as usual, my nightmare fodder provided the best design, so this is what I got. Thank you, nightmares, sometimes you can be useful. In any case, this is the "Normal" form partially in transition. O2 has no actual face (or really even much of a head). Sometimes it produces optical illusion eyes mostly for expression, other than that it's got the obelisk look. At least it's a shape.

Voids are the actual species, which are generally of undefined structures. Like a Deoxys, they maintain everything beyond the Earth's atmosphere and other life-bearing planets. O2 is the current rogue leader and has a deep attraction to exotic energies which is what motivates its infectious behavior.

Seems like proper order would have been to draw the other three Aeons first, but I'm not in a drawing mood right now. Had the sketch, can do the space stuff with minimal effort, and being that O2 is black and relatively featureless then just did the boss ahead of the other characters mostly just to alleviate boredom. Very simple picture for sadly a very simple character. I'm sure when next to every other "Legendary" O2 will look eerie for its features rather than instantly recognized as plain.
