Unless it's something contemporary I haven't heard of, you might be thinking of the Andrews Sisters, though they wore military uniforms, and sang contemporary (for the time) songs.

Ahhh they wore uniforms much like that up till the late 60s early 70s I remember us going up to Vancouver BC to pick my dad up a few times in the mid and late 60s. He always flew TCA and that's what I remember them wearing. Then TCA became Air Canada and the last time we all went up to get Dad was 71 and they still wore much the same uniform.
