A couple animatronic Troodon in the temporary Dinosaur! exhibit at the Minnesota Zoo.
The name "Troodon" means "wounding teeth" because its teeth were serrated.
Troodon was a “human-size” dinosaur at 6-12 feet long, three feet tall and about 110 pounds.
What They Ate: The Troodon was a carnivore (meat eater), and due to its speed, it likely ate anything it could catch.
Where Fossils Have Been Found In North America: Wyoming and Alberta, Canada
What They Did: Scientists believe that Troodon might have been one of the more intelligent dinosaurs, considering its brain size to body size ratio. They also suspect it had good eyesight and sense of hearing.
