An animatronic Quetzalcoatlus in the temporary Dinosaur! exhibit at the Minnesota Zoo.
It's named for Quetzalcoatl, meaning "feathered serpant" and an Aztec deity.
Of all the flying creatures in the world, Quetzalcoatlus was almost certainly the largest, weighing in at 400 pounds and with a wingspan of 32 feet.
What They Ate: This carnivore (meat eater) did not have teeth - most likely it swallowed food whole.
