Finally, a sketch of my new fursona! This is Eltani the Dracolynx (not to be confused with Eltani the Troll), a combination of the black dragon Rafiel (my past life/main 'sona) and the golden lynx Vichama (my fursuit/congoing 'sona). The result is a Dracolynx. The three black scales under each eye (admittedly partly inspired by Zelgadis of the Slayers series) actually serve a purpose. Being black, they draw light away from his eyes, thus serving the same purpose as the black paint often seen under the eyes of sport players and warriors.

He wears the same red bandanna as Vichama, and is rarely seen without it. It is also a significant part of my (the artist's) daily ensemble. I never go out without it.

His fur is golden in color, close to that of a lion. His hair is a butterscotch yellow-blond, and his eyes can be anywhere from emerald to cobalt, depending on nothing in particular. Perhaps it's the light, or maybe his mood. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. ^^ They simply stay within shades of blue or green.

I filed this under Dracat because, I suppose, a Dracolynx would be a more specific subspecies of Dracat. It is both draconic and feline.
