So when

Skalos's contest, he proposed an idea that has been tread a number of times: Dude gets sent into a different dimension and is mandatorily fattened by the local authorities.
My boggle is that that's completely ridiculous, unless there's some factor at work. So I decided to go with altered biology and evil cult. I had fun writing the story and I hope you guys enjoy reading it.

Interesting take on this type of story, at that. A few minor semi-typos ("flaunt" instead of "flout", for example), but you'e doing all right on the technical front as well.
I admit, it's hard to make this sort of thing believable in a short story. After all, modern societal pressures don't have fat people being kidnapped and forcibly dieted. Your idea of involving a weird cult makes that part a lot easier to take, since weird cults by definition aren't terribly logical.

Yeah, I'm not perfect and neither are my proofreaders, it would seem. XD I need a bigger proofreading team.
Thanks! I did some hard thinking about how to make it believable and the options were crazy dictator, super villain (very similar), biological difference (took aspects) and psychotic cults. Since psychotic cults already do completely insane shit in real life to regular people, I figured that was the most reasonable option to write a totally unreasonable situation. Kind of proud of it. XD
