Orlando Airport Marriott Hotel: Convention Center Entrance
This is the pre-event space in the Convention Center of the Orlando Airport Marriott, which is the new hotel for the Megaplex Anthro Convention! On the left side are the entrance doors (likely where attendees will enter) and the registration desks; to the right are the doors that lead to the various convention spaces. The Grand Ballroom is the largest, with approximately 10,000 square feet. Behind me, the hall leads back to the hotel lobby.

Like I said above, it looks bipolar. It almost looks like they changed their mind halfway through the process, or one side needed replacing, but they couldn't find the original or anything close to it. x3
Aside from this carpet, the hotel looks really great! Very promising. :)

Thanks for taking interior shots of the convention space! And for even including some information on the square footage! I love architecture and information related to it, especially dimensions. =D
Although ugly, the carpet might be useful in some situations, such as telling groups of people to stay on one side of the room, using the carpet as a clean line for organization. "Keep the mostly orange side clear so people can get in and out of the building" or something like that. Just my thoughts on it. ( not saying that's why it was done, though )
