This is the lobby of the Orlando Airport Marriott, which is the new hotel for the Megaplex Anthro Convention. Very nice, with cool lighting and a nice atmosphere! The hotel's flagship restaurant, 'Luxe', is off to the left, the check-in desk is directly ahead, and to the right are the main entrance doors. Behind me is the hall that leads to the Convention Center area.

Very cool lobby.

The hanging light fixtures and the tiles on the columns give me a late 60's / early 70's vibe. Any idea how old the hotel is?

I think it was built in the 80's, but I could be wrong. You are right, the atmosphere definitely reeks of the 70's...and I am LOVING it! :D

Reminds me of some of the new buildings at my former college. As soon as my camera comes back from the shop, I think I'll go there and play in the interior spaces.
