It was fun, but I was there just for today, sadly. I got an Aruba vacation in late September.

He was super nice and easy going, so he was fun to talk to. He loves reading comics when he was little and he told everyone from the Dragon Con True Blood panel that he's a geek trapped in a tall jock body. XD

Well, seeing that I go to Aruba with my folks every late September/early October and wanted to save my money for eating, shopping, and gambling, I went there on Saturday this year - avoiding hotel costs, etc. Not sure if next year's Dragon Con will conflict with my family vacation, but if you go check out the Dragon Con website, it should tell you when and who's going to visit Dragon Con. I'm pretty sure Joe and his TB friends will be back next year. ;)

Oh, and the costumes! Go check out the costumes that most everyone is wearing on YouTube. They've gotten better and better every year! ;)

ok and i will check it out but just to let you know i dont have a costume. lol i might be able to get one soon

I really don't have time for a costume when I'm there. I'm there to greet people, buy a few things, take pictures, and get out before 5pm. I do make sure I get gas to my car and leave VERY early in time to get to the city before rush traffic around 9am.

Celebrities from comics, TV/movies, book authors, RPG-car/board games, dealer's den with Dr. Who, True Blood, etc. merch, anime, DVDs, signed autographs - mostly it's all your sci-fi/horror/whatever-your-favorite-genre-is type of convention. It's fun, trust me. ;)
