Another unimportant alien species that's barely mentioned in my story. =w=;; The fourth and currently last humanoid species(there's humans, dakaltre, lellians, and innisir)

Innisir are originally from a moonlet circling a gas giant, and their atmosphere constantly blocked out nearly all light, so they don't rely on sight and have to be careful or they'll get serious sunburns.

They do actually have eyes in some of those facial pits, but they're tiny and not good for much. They can detect light and color just fine, but can't turn that into a meaningful image. As a result, the bright colors they flash may seem incredibly obvious to a visually-oriented alien, but to their own kind the color changes are the equivalent of pheromones to other species. They certainly have an affect, but even two individuals standing right next to each other aren't likely to consciously register the differences.

They rely far more on their heat-sensors, smell/taste, hearing, and ability to detect electricity to learn about their environment.

Their, erm, important bits are internal. This individual is a male.
