Yet another little gift/request art, this time for Elementalheroshadow2 of deviantArt . The actual concept was spurred from his failed April Fool's request submission that he and over 50 other people fell for. Still had that memorized. Involved his persona, Shadow and his Harpie showing their moves.
I sure fell flat on my face with this one, and hard. I went into this one sick and very uninspired and does it ever show it. I'm not a fan of Yugioh. I know how to play the card game and watched the first season of the tv show and that was basically it. I can name some of the monsters, and identify the style and a few more, but wasn't a fan. Combine the lack of enthusiasm for said fandom, with an armor set I can only describe as confusing, and a headache that lasted several days and could cripple the average migraine sufferer, this picture was doomed from the get-go.
Save the effort of pointing out the flaws. I'll do it for you. Proportions are off. The picture frames way to heavily to the right. There looks to be a lackluster attempt at just about everything, and that technically stems from a drawing that got the uninspired treatment. No amount of shadow, overlay of whatever was going to save this. I drew badly. Very badly and I know it.
