“May I look yet Master?” asked the pink kitsune as the car slowed to a stop. “Not yet Katsaya. I wouldn’t have blindfolded you if I had wanted you to be able to see before I was ready for you to.” replied the wolfox in the drivers seat. They had been driving for a little while and had finally come to a stop. The passenger side door opened and Katsaya was helped to exit the car and stand safely. They were on a hill of some sort from what she could tell.

“Follow me Katsaya.” said the male as he took her hand and led her up the incline. A minute of walking later and they were at the top. Immediately a familiar scent crossed her nose. It was the scent of Tiger Lillies. Her favorite Flower. All at once dim sunlight flooded her vision, blinding her for a moment before things began to come into focus. The wind blew past them, their tails and the sleeves of Katsaya’s dress flowing in the breeze as flower petals kicked up around them. Katsaya stared wide eyed at the scene. A field of flowers stretched out seemingly forever before them, leading to the mountains in the far distance. A small patch of tiger lilies was nearby and she looked to see the male picking a stem of one. He turned to her with a smile, holding the two connected flowers. “Do you like the surprise?” he asked. “Oh yes Master it’s beautiful.” she said as he placed the flowers in her hair. “Come sit with me.” he said as he motioned over to a nearby tree.

Time passes slowly as the pair sit together and just enjoy each other’s company, regaling in stories they’ve each experienced both together and with others as the afternoon sun moves to start setting. “Thanks for bringing me out here Master.” said Katsaya happily. “I’m glad you enjoyed it Katsaya. Happy Anniversary.” he said softly. “You too. Here’s to many more.” she said holding the flowers he’d placed I her hair up, admiring the view and watching a nearby hummingbird enjoying the bountiful nectar of the tiger lily patch.

So today marks the one year anniversary of when I accepted  Dumbmutt as my pet. It's been a happy year and we've truthfully helped each other a lot. I wanted to have something special done to commemorate the occasion. I asked my friend  firetally to do a pic for us and this gorgeous scene is what she came up with. I am immensely happy with how this came out. Happy Anniversary  Dumbmutt
