(If you like this picture you can COMMISSION ME!)
$15 Full Color commission for Shorty-Antics-27 http://www.furaffinity.net/user/shorty-antics-27/ . I offered a discounted colored image for anyone who would commission me for a bat that was not of the Old World Leaf-Nosed variety (or in other words, if you think your nose is ugly, be glad you're not these types of bats.) The bat that was brought forth was a lovely chunky Hoary-Proboscis bat, specifically a Brazilian Long-Nosed one.
I did actually read the reference description, and due to her being a bit of a big girl (eating too many critters) then she can't actually fly. Now while bats do fly around at varying times of the day, night is when all the creepy-crawlies move. Their night vision is still a joke. So, faux pas aside, I had Shorty do a jump with a spread of the wings, and hopefully moonlight is enough not to send her face-planting into a rock.
I generally don't draw what some might refer to as 'big girls'. Either I have skinny or athletic as the primary body types I draw. Not that I mind doing such things. A girl with curves is a wonderful thing. Played with the wing texture and a bit of see-through. Put it this way, when I ask for a furry to draw, there will be things you will see me try out that I might not normally do. Love it when I can play. Lighting in general is just to add the mystique. One thing I will slap myself for is that the image balances badly. Too much of the pose and attention goes to the left side.
