OK I was hoping the test would be easier to read but unfortunately the font ended up being too small to really read with out magnification I did enlarge the last panel in the original comic strip (which can be seen at https://www.hodgespond.com ) However here is a close up of the final panel that several of you have asked about. Yes this was designed to be an easter egg with funny text to read. Also notice Peter's slogan on his poster. Any how enjoy.


This is the text in the newspaper:

After a long and heated battle,
Predator party candidate Peter
was declared victorious over his
rival, Steve. At 5 PM CST Steve
received a phone call from Peter
who was quoted as saying “In
your face long ears!” The taunt
prompted Steve to immediately
hang up. Once the initial dust
settled and the final counts
were in, It was clear that the
election was decided in the
east mountain region. Despite
support from renowned Prey
party supporter and FBA super star
Buck Hopper, Steve only
managed to snatch defeat from the
jaws of victory. It was clear from the
beginning of the campaign that the
road to victory would be an up hill
challenge.
“It’s time for change” said staunch
Predator supporter Mary Mouse, and
perhaps she was right as
Hodges Pond elects its 2nd Mayor
in Peter Fox. Only time will tell
if the changing of politicians will
actually improve things or will this
be nothing but more of the same
from just another prospective.
