This is very cute. I like the subtle descriptions to get their points across.

Beautiful. There is so much condensed into this story. I like how the few actions make them so much more meaningful . . .

Thanks again. This one took a lot of editing to get it just right as to what the characters were doing physically. It was especially hard getting the balance of back-story and point of view of each character to where I liked it.

I particularly like the '...gives me no respect' line. It conveys so much about the character.

Thanks. I think everyone goes through that stage in life, but for Challenge it would be especially rough. That line just jumped out of me and was one of the few things unchanged in all the editing in this one.

If an idea doesn’t strike first I’ll probably tend to return for the occasional prompt when it calls me in that direction.

As with all the other people commenting on this story, I enjoyed it Even though things have not improved much for challenge it was pleasing to see him getting this little bit of happiness. The caracal was also a very good character that was easy to like.

Beautiful. Interesting. This is continuation to your response to the prompt "coming of age", am I right? Sad that the cougar is still shunned by his own people, still, the ending had some hope in it. Very sweet little story, I enjoyed reading this.

I really, really liked this one. Especially when the two characters started talking at the end. It was a tense, but yet, very beautiful moment.
