Here are a few shots of the teeth placed into the skull. Typically teeth will be obviously symmetrical, although some specimens are subject to mutation and/or naturally worn so sometimes it may be difficult to pin-point exactly where they might go. For cats the molars, premolars, and canines are pretty obvious, but the incisors are especially small. You might have to toy around with placement, but most of the time the right tooth will fit just right into the skull. I start out by matching up pairs then working from there. The outer-most incisor is a bit larger than the center 4, which are very close in size. Just take your time placing them and do this in the light to make sure you don't have them upside-down.
