A female Sabalope has taken to living with a small herd of Antelope, and has helped them endure the hardships of the dry season. The rains finally return, bringing the promise of renewed life.

I'm not sure. Maybe the White Hyrax from around the Arabian Desert that in some individuals will grow a single, straight horn. The species is supposed to have started the "Unicorn" myth.

Beautifully done! I'm a rancher and live in the central Nevada desert, so "And then, the Rains returned..." means a lot to me. I'd love to kiss that Sabalope; she is so much prettier than my cows!
