Omega Assault 3, Mark IIIc. Essentially it was the big, bad, second in command of my thylacine themed army for Legions of Steel/Planetstorm by Global Games. The Archfiend was the most impressive unit in the army, this was my favorite though. The Omega designation was to denote the grafting of organic brain tissue to its computer systems. Not much different wen it came to game play, but the omega dended towards an organic paintjob.
Its a converion using the, but I didnt do much. Head came from a Yowies Powerful thylacine. Did some cutting with my dremel tool's engrave head and mounted an optics bit on the right side. Thats it.

You know, its nice to run across someone who had heard of the game.
A couple years back (4 maybe 5,) the game shop I was doing mail order through called me up and let me know some company had bought the molds and was doing special orders of the minis. I managed to scrape the cash together to order a few minis (one of each of the MK IIIs, an archfiend, and some of the UNE RXS units.) They werent the best quality casts at the joints, but nothing green putty and alot of filing couldnt fix. Sadly, 3 months later when I was going to order more, the game shop guy said the company had aleady closed. I consider myself lucky as it was the MK 1, MkIII and Archfiend minis that got me interested in wargaming.
As a side note, Ive been trying off and on since then to make a few molds so that I could <ahem> make resin or plastic copies. All attempts have resulted in failure (thankfully with no damage done to the mini.)
