About the Floxrai
Lifespan - 605-675 years
Diet - Strictly fruit, fish, and nuts.
General Coloration - Natural colors & fur patterns; crystals are usually of a bright, florescent color, hence the species name.
Misc. - The flox exhibit a long-legged and elegant build similar to that of a greyhound. Though covered in long, silky fur, they are generally mistaken for coyotes or large cats at first glance. Glowing crystals along their spines and ears are of naturally occurring gems & minerals such as sapphire, onyx, quartz, and emerald, but more exotic and unidentifiable metals and gems have been reported. The 'jewels' that are found around their paws and on their backs are smaller deposits of those same minerals, strung together by silken threads of their fur. The purpose for these remains unknown. As a whole, they are elusive, and rarely seen by people.
