This is my entry for
Hopeful_Monster_Studios contest, specifically the "Wyrm Species You Would Like" section. I call it a Maned Sky Wyrm.
I went a bit crazy on this little beast, particularly on the face. I haven't done bead work like that on a dragons face in a long time. It was a lot of fun. She is also posable as I used two pieces of 18 gauge steel twisted together as the core.
The figure is wire and paper core with a fabric skin. The facial and back ornaments are beads with a pearl in the center of the forehead. The mane is a piece of faux fur. The whiskers are wire.
