Oh, and yeah. I've played the guitar since I was about 11 years old. I play the bass as well, but it's my favorite instrument by far. I was inspired by Iron Maiden to take it up, and that leads you down a hellish road of trills and hammers. XD

none, really. I own a keyboard, and I used it for a long time to hammer out ideas and dump samples, but I do all my composing via arrangement on a tracker.

Hum. I seem to run into more and more people that don't play instruments but compose much better than I do.

Funny how when it comes to music, I forget all of the words of wisdom I've told others about when it comes to artwork; how you can't compare yourself to anyone else, nor let that impair you. I'm such an emokid sometimes. =P

it's because when you compose music, it FEELS different. You get a different vibe when you're making it, somehow. Maybe it's cause it takes much longer or something I dunno, but it's so much more meticulous that you end up caring a whole lot more about the final product.

I see what you mean. As opposed to people who play instruments in a band of some sort, who usually can only imagine the importance of their part. Interesting.

well, I meant in comparison to drawing.

Drawing is a different bag. The individual things that you do are much easier and fluid, but the creation as a whole usually takes a long time to complete in a professional manner. Whereas songs are more tedious in the individual notes, but usually once you have everything down for the riffs, you've got everything set up. Nevertheless, I'm gonna stop being a whiny bitch and actually upload some music soon. =P
