Weekly Update! (2026-04-12) Warming Cold Feet

Hey there peeps!

So since my housemate Dicy is going to be out of town for the week, and Tigre is somewhat sick, I’m going to be taking another by-week in order to be available in case there are any issues or I need to watch the little bean for a bit and give Tigre some time to decompress.

As it is, I’ll be working on things off-stream during that time and finishing up the administrative work that I haven’t had a chance to take care of.
I’m getting close to the end of it, thankfully, so hopefully things will continue to chug along as they have.

I should have enough to pay my taxes this week, thankfully, but I will be poking people about more commissions as I grind on them, so hopefully we can keep that ball rolling. I’ve been trying to take better care of myself, and after a bit of a funk, I feel like I’m actually feeling better and my mind is a little clearer.
I’m trying to make changes to my diet, eat a little better, and get more exercise. Hopefully that’ll pay dividends in the long term as my health improves.
I know I’ve been a bit volatile emotionally as of late, but I’m trying to settle that down by being more conscious of my own self maintenance.

Now, people have been asking me about my characters and settings lately, and about when I’m actually going to do stories and such with them. On one hand I’m glad people are interested! And on the other, I feel bad that I’ve been dragging my feet so much. It never seems like the right time to do things, there’s always something else that takes precedent, but I suppose the best time is always five minutes ago.

I’ve been mulling around in my worlds a lot lately, so maybe I can convince myself to stop being afraid of my own work and just... go for it.

Either way, we’re going to keep things moving along, ticking off boxes and knocking things down.

I don’t have much else to say otherwise, so we’ll just leave it there for now.
