The story goes a planet eating monster called Khaos the mother of Core Beasts was sealed in another universe where nothing exists to fight with all the Star Beasts forever. Khaos soon was able to evolve and instead consume the Star Beasts do to no stars being in this universe for the Star beast to gain powers from. The last of the Star Beasts had a kid called Kobalt and reopened a small hole to give Kobalt a better life and stop a near by planet from summoning Khaos back. Kobalt from crashing to hard into planet Gaia lost his memories and his powers turning into a normal guy on that planet.
The planet Kobalt had landed on was in ruin do to a group called the Sins of Khaos who seek to summon back there god to make the universe a better place as old text says Khaos would consume all evil in the universe and leave those who do good in peace.
Kobalt now renamed Blue and being a silly guy will when he's around Khaos energy change back into Kobalt with the knowlege of what his main goal was.
