Done a bit research and it seems that it doesn't have any external gain control, rather, a lil software that controls it, which is only for MAC OSX, so if you have windows I don't have a clue, might be some settings in the audio configuration so that might be the first place to start looking! ^^
well.. i have the software.. it's windows compatable. Sonar LE is what it's called... i just havent messed with it :P i usually use audacity because it's simple to use and stuff, though the vocal remover sucks for most songs XD i dunno... i need proffessionals around me 24/7 :P

But yea, u might find something in audacity to adjust the input gain on the mic ^^
