Another commission finished, this one for
k9pilot. I'm trying to work on improving depth in my backgrounds. I read somewhere that items further back tend to look more blue, so I thought I'd give it a try here. I still need more practice, but hopefully the background looks a little better depth-wise.
Done on 9x12 Bristol board with ink, Copic markers, white gel pen, and a white colored pencil.

The reason the backgrounds look more "bluish"is due to haze. London, ocean settings and such will have more haze, while any desert setting, like the Sahara or death Valley would have very little, except for very distant object, like over 10 miles away or so.
Not a critique, but explaining things.
BTW, I might be at FAU to buy books. :=3
