Whilst exploring the caverns beneath Mount Prometheus in an attempt to venture further into the Earth, Mike had unfortunately made a wrong turn into the center of the active volcano, and was forced out in a rather fiery eruption.
This be the Final Mountain in the series of Disney Mountains that I've been drawing. The Mountain here being Mount Prometheus in Tokyo DisneySea. This volcano (which actually does erupt) features the dark thrill ride "Journey to the Center of the Earth", based on the Jules Verne novel.
While I already had a basic idea planned out for this one, I'd say that out of all the mountains, this one was the hardest to 'flesh out' for multiple reasons - 1) Had trouble fully conceptualizing the idea (indecison on angles - from ground or from air? 2) Themountain volcano turned out to be a challenge to draw, especially with the fortress castle in the foreground.
Nevertheless, I'd say I be satisfied with the result, and overall glad to be done with this impromptu series.
