Aithen is younger than Darrian, as he is one of the last to be hatched 3rd-gen drakes. Though he's the brother of Jeirg, besides some physical similarities the two are polar opposites. Aithen is level headed, patient, casual and most of all selfless which got him a bad reputation in his earlier days of piracy for being weak. Soon enough he proved some of the strongest pirates in the world his strength and is one of the few to go unopposed by anyone but the Empire.
Aithen has a strange fascination with stars and every clear night he can be found laying on deck gazing at them until he falls asleep. He has a personal philosophy that everyone should be free which shows in his personality to never be tied town to anything. His most renown pursuit is sinking prisoner ships, rescue the prisoners, and escort them to safety, an act that can be said to have attributed to his high bounty.
Though he's a rather calm and casual soul, he does know when to be serious and especially how to fight. He rarely uses his cutlass and prefers his magic which as a dragon of the sea is the water around him. From maelstroms to 'hydras', Aithen is well keen on the destructive tenancies of water, but as he says....it's when he most feels free, surrounded by the sea.
