I think Gem has been lucky to find someone as chivalrous as Paul. I wonder how many other guys would have passed up that opportunity.
And I totally think that would be a super romantic place to do some smooching..although then i'd start thinking about all the fireflies watching with their buggy little eyes and then id probably get freaked out.

The only reason it's at all notable is that it is a continuing narrative without Gem being witness to it, we know there is also a continuing narrative that Gem isn't aware of in the sleepy bubbles day care however; we the viewer haven't seen any of that happening.

*giggle* Yup this might be one for the archives. :) It's true, there's only been a few times where we know that stuff was happening while Gem (big or little) wasn't there. There's only been one time when it was actually shown. Most of "Found" (no, almost all of it) is from Gem's point of view. We might be heading into another time when something happens while she's not actually present and conscious. I don't know, though. We might skip over it.
I am not evil but honestly I would have done the kiss.
The way I see it, it was a harmless request and mostly for entertainment value. I would have did it for a chuckle (wow...That must have made me sound like a creep) and think nothing else about it after that point.
I am a guy so a kiss to me is just two lips touching. I guess to a lady a first kiss would have emotional value to it. So maybe it just that or maybe I just have a creep-like mind and not aware of it. lol

Most likely he'll think she's got a medical condition, and he'll think that it's why she's never had a boyfriend before -- she's afraid her condition will scare them off. He'll probably also think that's why she's such an overachiever at work -- she has low self-esteem because of her incontinence so she's always working hard to prove to herself that she's worthy. That's what I think he'll think, anyway, given no other information.
Paul is being very gentlemanly! Although he didn't stop her from drinking -- even though she told him she didn't have very much experience with alcohol. (And he's way less drunk than she is, probably because of body mass, his presumably greater tolerance for alcohol, and the fact that he was drinking beer while she was drinking mixed drinks with vodka in them.) Still, though, he's refusing to take advantage of her while she's drunk, even though we're just talking about a kiss, which is quite decent of him.
I am a bit sad that this is considered exceptional rather than the normal, right thing to do, though. :/

chances are at least one of three things will happen.
Paul WON'T discover the diaper when he puts her to bed this can be achieved by dragging the entire sheets back, setting her down, not exposing the under-dress area and putting the sheets back over.
Paul either leaves or sleeps in a chair or on the couch or in one of the guest rooms.
Or
we see the dream sequence of baby gem.
Or
Paul will carry her home by scooping the back of the legs, you know.. kind of like carrying across the thresh-hold sort of i mean how else do you carry a person home in a dignified way while they're unconcious?

I think the whole diaper discovery thing is a bit to cliche to be the next thing, a good writer can use unexpected twists.
I don't think Paul would climb into bed with her because:
Paul's character suggests he's a gentlemen and they don't do that on first dates.
It's creepy and well imagine waking up the next morning.
My apologies for over-analyzing it.
