Bet you weren't expecting this. Nope nope. i've been working on this for a little while truth be told. A secret some may say, but the secret is out.
this is page 1 of my new graphic novel...i dunno if calling it a comic is right.
Anyway this is Gem. my fursona but obviously grown up. This will be a regression/Babyfur comic you're just gonna hafta sit through 5-6 pages of non babyfur stuff (gotta set the scene and whatnot) LOL who knew that gem would grow up to be an extreme sport enthusiast.
I am also trying a different tecnihique in terms of colouring so its a bit scrappy but to be honest I think I really like it.

Looks very painted-y! But the coloring and layout is very cool, it actually works really well with a certain layout that appeals to the brain but I can't remember what the layout is. All I know is it looks like a Z and stuff. But anyway, oh man, when Gem gets older she's BRAVE! And she's got a HUGE tail! And a head of dirty blond hair, which is kind of funny because your hair is red. XD But I totally understand what she's saying, its same for me, in my moments of chaos (not like, stressful chaos, but intense moments, like playing a sport or being on stage or something) is at the same time super nerve-wrecking but also super peaceful when its happening, cuz if its happening its happening! I'm very much looking forward to the rest of this, as well.
You know what, Sam? I came back here to get a link to this picture so that I could use it to show one end of your artistic spectrum and then the last posted page to show the other end. Your work in the six years of this graphic novel has gotten so much better. it has shown your growth as an artist.
But, I need to ask, I didn't realize it had been that long. Did you ever think that after six years, you'd still be telling this story? I mean, seriously, some American, and probably British television shows haven't gone on this long!!

Never stop being proud of this work. There are some fetish elements in here, but they do what they should do, they act as PART of the story, rather than the story just being a medium to mindlessly deliver on those fetishes, and the story itself has a beginning, middle, ending, has characters with motives and goals, hopes and fears. And a character who goes through growth and overcomes her troubles. Be proud of this work of art you created.
Thank you! That really means a lot. Truthfully I've always been a writer at heart, the art thing came more...accidentally as a way to suppliment my writing so plot/chaarcter development always played a...higher role than certain other elements, than I guess you would typically find here hahaha. Im kinda proud of how this turned out (I always feel conceited when I say stuff like that) But its true. I'm really glad I made this comic

I'll admit, I recently commented on a fetish fuel piece of art with a paragraph narrative description. And I asked questions about filling in the blanks. The creator said I was overthinking it, and I said overthinking things was fun for me. And he deleted my comments. What I'm saying is, yes, when fetish is involved, a lot of people on this site aren't trying to tell a story. This comic is SOMETHING SPECIAL!

Omfg I agree with this so much. I’m not into this sexually what so ever, being bi-romantic and all but the fact that people wank off to this stuff I’m just like how, there is usually some deep shit going on child hood trauma usually camp crinkle page 21 I think is a great example. Those who say it’s a turn on I’m just like bruh that’s you but stay away from my little side ya creep
I sat through the hole thing in pretty much one day... ok a night I was so hang up on it I couldn't sleep I just needed to get it done and now is a part of my life I will read it my hole life I wish I could buy a copy of the novel it will probably going to take me 2 years to buy it but I will have all the greatest ageplay comics: found, shine, youthful bliss and regressive tendencies I love all of them and I want to read it every day of my life
Many years ago I saw the movie Spirited Away, I was excited and someone told me that I would definitely like Grave of the Fireflies too… Now I had fun reading Shine, and someone told me I should also read Found… It's a good story, definitely worth a read just be ready for strong moments.
