I wanted to share this for a number of reasons. The biggest of which being how it is a great motivational poster for those of us who do our best each-and-every day to improve and expand our work no matter how recognized we may ever get for it.
It can be extremely discouraging to put hours of work into something you believe in that gets barely a handful of page views and not a single comment. Some may even wonder why they would even bother to put forth such an epic effort again to just receive an equal, if not worse, feeling of rejection. However, even a single view is a person who took the time to enjoy your work. Furthermore, you just never know how your work may end up influencing those who happen to come across it.
My ambition is to be recognized as a Children's Book writer who is able to make tales in which are delightful for kids to read while exciting for parents to follow along with. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, along with other concepts, have proven to me my 13+ years worth of effort can pay off. It's just a matter of finding the right person at the right time at the right place.
However, even if the efforts of Nishi and myself are unable to propel the Haposaurs to any level beyond a small audience, I am still happy in knowing I didn't give up, nor will I, on being the best writer I can be through the development of my characters and worlds they live in. Hopefully those reading this can agree in that the friendships we build through sharing our works is a grand reward in itself while aspiring to be more gives us reason to push ourselves to new limits every day.

*Shrugs* Yeah, the quote is quite short and definitely not Spike's brightest hour either. However, for the concept of "Ambition" it certainly does fit. One sees a goal and is fervent towards making it happen. :)
Hope you are well, Kaffre. I have missed a journal of yours I do believe and apologize for having not kept in better touch. May your days be Yoshi and here's to catching up again more sooner-than-later.
