Van Gogh and Monet just look like paint splattered on a canvas. I think Nick300 has way better telnet then those guys. Plus Van Gogh only sold two paintings during his life, it wasn't till after he died that his paintings became famous. So in other words no one really took him seriously, he was just 'another dead artist' that everyone had to make a big deal over just because he died. Then everyone else after followed blindly because they thought he had a 'following/fan base' then made all sorts of justifications to legitimize his artwork. When you think about it. He is really the second most over rated artist in history. But no one on FA will go down in history as a grand master or anything because art critics don't count digital media as real art.
