I am pretty sure the 2600 Donkey Kong and DK Jr. ports were done by Coleco... they had the exclusive home console rights, anyways, and produced ports for the 2600 and the Colecovision. This might explain why those two ports were so awful; I've always wondered if Coleco botched them on purpose in an attempt to drive the 2600 down and bolster the Colecovision.
Yeap Sega was making penny arcades back in the mid 50s they didnt join the vidoe gaming till the early 80s^^ Hell Nintendo was around in the 1860s from making card games and toys till they join in the gaming in the mid 70s. And before they made there own consoles they ported here games on Atari, Coleco and Intellvision.
I'm afraid that Raiders was a bit of a flop. Coupled with the wrist-breaking OEM sticks that came with the system and the control system that was part of it, made it a poor playing game. Now if I still had it when I bought my WICO sticks (traded it for barnstorming) i'd probably have smoked it.
I recently bought Berzerk and Video Pinball from retro game retail store a week ago. Since the Atari 2600 port of Berzerk has no voice clips from the original arcade version I have to say the lines myself as I'm playing it at home. For those who want to play it closer to the arcade version, select game mode 03.
