And I totally know what you mean about drawing other people's stuff. It's like, I've got a billion ideas I'll never have time to work on of my own, why waste time and effort on someone else's ideas? I mean, other people's OCs are still original to a degree, so that's okay-ish, but fanart of stuff that's already got a billion dollars' worth of art dedicated to it feels like spitting into the ocean, even if it's really good.
