Once the Underworld had been discovered by a scout and Federation contact had begun, it wasn't long before a company specializing in genetic engineering got a hold of the genes responsible for allowing the neural link. These new BioSuits™ were used for a variety of purposes, though were engineered so that their minds were nearly blank so that they required a rider. This prevented them from running amok, but if their designated rider was not around, there have been reported instances of the suits claiming any rider that they could get a hold of.

The pictured BioSuit™ is something of a special case. Two riders involved in a love affair that is specifically against company policy made love while wearing their suits. The result was a human-hybrid BioSuit™ which had a mind of its own, and is on the run from agents from the company who fear that she will be used by their competitors...
