It's only been a month but I figured I needed to make an update about this stuff. I've been sick, going to the hospital (didn't have to stay) but still enough to be put on a lot of meds, still more leftover issues and infections from the salmonella poisoning a while back. Other people here been sick too, and dealing with that. One of the major things is someone I lived with who is a relative became mentally unstable and is sick from multiple physical issues, to the point where calling the ambulance because an almost daily occurrence. Going back and forth to the hospital was too. Whereas everything before was everyone pitched in and helped, that stopped, and I ended up doing everything because the person was in the hospital and the other people/person was visiting them long hours and was also sick. So everyone has been sick, and lots of hospital. The person has now been moved to a rehab center, though they have a feeding tube in and other things, and they aren't going to be returning home, preparations have to be made where they will be put in a group or nursing home for the rest of their life, it seems. People are still visiting her, and are still sick (all the sickness is from stress, and not contagious) so I'm still doing pretty much everything at home, but it at least is moving forward. It's still gonna be a long time before things get 'normal' again, but it's a process that has to be done. Everyone's appointments except for my kids have been put off and away.

I'm at least able to sit back up properly and do work again. Every time I tried to do work the last month or so I'd have to stop because something would be happening and/or I'd have to call the ambulance or whatever. Bar sketches picked up at least because I'd take my sketch book with me and do free stuff for people already owed stuff while waiting at appointments or whatever. (we have a lot of taquerias here, the only thing we have more then those is churches, so I could almost always just go next door while waiting, have a drink (for nerves and constant pain) and do at least some form of work.)

The car fund is of course because now that the car is paid off, we know how that works, it's when it starts needing more done to it. It's had quite a bit donated to it, but is still short about $400. Way it works is Pay what you want, donate any amount, and you get drawn into the car pic. Quality/level of image depends on amount donated. Reference must be sent as well so I know what to put in there.
