After re-furring this guy THREE TIMES, we finally got the hang of it. :D We also installed the black mesh in the tearduct area (it darkens when someone is wearing it). Airbrushing time tomorrowwww :D :D

Yup, we're going to redo the ears today; they were sort of placeholders until we could figure them out today. We're going to reshave them because the long fur makes it look like they're closer together than they really are and redo the base inside them.

It was basically getting the pattern down correctly so there weren't any funky seams. Gluing was also a bit difficult; stretching the fur while gluing helps it keep level with the base underneath and prevents any lumps on the fur. As for shaving... it takes a LOT of patience to get the hang of it. We mostly messed up because of the shaving part.. just be super careful when you use have to use the bare blade (without any guards).
