In following with your podcast, I've been thinking about the subject of furry. There are usually some strong indicators as to whether someone is a furry or not. Some of the most common are:
A furry personalized license plate
Furry bumper stickers
Possession of animal ears and tail
Possession of a fursuit (a big indicator, but surprisingly enough, not a dead giveaway)
Furry-themed jewelry
Knowledge of furry lingo (yiff, fursuit, fursona, Rusty Venture...OK, maybe not Rusty Venture, but it's amusing)
Encyclopedic knowledge of animated films and features containing furries
Stronger than average knowledge of facts about animals
Utterance of animal noises from time to time
Knowledge of common furry abbreviations (VCL, FA, IB, AC, SPH, etc)
None of these are a dead giveaway alone, but two or three together? Yeah, just saying.
Also, if you what a chakat is, a sergal, or a citra, you're PROBABLY a furry, since those breeds don't exist anywhere but the furry community. Also hybrids.
