Lookit those eyes @__@ they so pwetty.
I sculpted and made these horns myself!!!! custom for this project. I wanted to make sure it was unique and not taxidermy. They're cast in a few layers of resin with expanding foam! (my first time doing it!)
I tell ya what I particularly love painting the mesh in the eyes. it makes them stand out less. and it's awesome because painting them does nothing to the vision at ALL! it's really cool. :)
epoxy sculpt scales glued around the eyes (wouldn't stick to the fur before that lol)
fuzzy deer/wolf like ears! :D blue forked tongue with black mouth webbing made from fabric! highlighted with some deep blue. the nostrils of the nose also have a bit of deep blue highlight! :) but the nose is black..
and also I added horse hair whiskers! :D
ugh I love this girl<3 and those throat scales! made of felt :) but they're so pwetty. LSKFNDSLFN
This is basically an artistic liberty set all for the ever so patient and sweet
songdog and I hope she likes it<3 you will see this at Califur this weekend! :)
oh, and I added some metal rings to the horns for the fun of it ^^ idk I wanted to unique-ify it a bit

^^ they're way easy to make! moldwise at least :b though for this one I had to rip the silicone to get the clay out since it wouldn't pull out all at once. ugh. so I patched it up but it made these extra bits that I had to sand off of both horns. I'll make another mold with a cast of this in resin all sanded down and shaped and that way I'll be able to pull it out all at once and NOT rip the mold ugh
I think my jaw literally dropped. holy shit. I am extremely impressed, and I think the quality of your work took a huge jump here. This is everything that I wanted, honestly. It looks perfect. I love this head SO MUCH BETTER than the other ones and I would love to turn this into a fullsuit one day. It just looks beautiful and amazing. Wow.
I know! compared to the old dragon I am so much more proud of this. and from start to finnish It came together rather smoothly with the new methods I use! I tend to have trouble at the last moment with the jaw movement and such but not with this! :) I'm so glad you like it beb ^^
