(Alright, y'all. This is a picture I submitted to DA recently, but you don't know the guy nor either of the characters, so it probably won't make a ton of sense. To those it does, however, here you go:)

Yes, `triptychr and Hua if they were anthrobots. Trip (the robotic universal journalist) has mostly metal for his body, but also borrowed from data that Jem Felis, ambassador of the Planet Machinus gathered; thus, he has soft, gel-filled latex forearms and hands for that hearty handshake that begins all successful interviews. He also features a little photo-developing unit in each of the bands on his tail; this way, he can store the pictures in his memory and create reproductions of them for easier conveyance to organics (who tend not to be USB compliant). In addition, his mouth features the vid-screen for facial expression that Jem utilizes, to have a more subtle range of faces and to work with social cues when he's speaking.
Hua was basically just brought along into it for the fun of it. She features a tight but flexible fabric over her head which, in addition to a number of tiny mechanical tendrils under it, allow her to manipulate her mouth and play wind instruments. The rest is largely so she can still glomp Trip without scraping the paint; something she enjoys even in this condition. ;)
