True, but this fur looks more amber/orange colored with black tips then the OMG red from the game and the dusty red from the movie.

the color in the picture shows up a tad lighter than the burnt orange that it really is. This is also not for me. This is for someone else. and they chose the fabric it's actually a very fancy french fur. This is also my personal artistic interpretation as well.

IMO, as much as I love Red as he is, I actually think he would have looked better using the fur coloration in this version shown on the fursuit. Sometimes semi-realism on an unrealistic species gives a better contrast, rather than weird unnatural colorations all over the place.

Gives greater appreciation for the aspects of the character that ARE super natural/fictional, I think, when combined with features that -are- believable. =3

That and I think the black-tipped fur patterning just makes him look -so- dark and brooding. Makes him look very ... intense, I guess is the word.

We don't know if Nanaki's species actually had to hunt for food or anything, but if they did I imagine having a blaring red coat would make that pretty tough. :>
