The character I'm planning has similar problems, not through blindness, but rather because of Photophobia, oversensitivity to light, causes migraines straight from hell if not treated appropriately. Requires a shaded one way lens headpiece that covers almost the whole length of her face. It has built in emoticon holoprojector his technologically adept father engineered that lets her relay others how she feels without need for facial expressions, like "..." when she's idle, ":D" when she's delighted, "T.T" when she gets rejected something and "LOL" when she's in the process of laughing or finds omething laughable.
