Just a run of the mill Directorate scoutship, now that they've acquired Jump 2 (2 Parsecs in a single week) technology. Though this is cutting edge technology in 2209 AD, Official Traveller uses scout ships (Type S) with near identical performances, despite being more than 34 centuries further in the future (5630 AD or thereabouts).
The Minsk (uplifted weasels) PC's in my campaign may eventually purchase a few of these but for the time being, they're pretty expensive and have few amenities for crews doing extended exploration beyond known space. The sensor and comm alotment is significantly better than the merchanter classes the Minsk typically use for exploring deep space.
The Droyne built merchanter 'Wolverine' is the exception to this rule - being a J3, 1G and heavily armed, and the Minsk's other primary exploration vessel, the 600 ton disp. Zorilla was purpose-built specifically for extended voyages in the deep wilderness (and is therefore accordingly -very- expensive).
The Directorate is currently producing roughly 3 of these vessels a year to supplement the much slower production of destroyers, cruisers and other small escort ships. In less than a decade of production, the Onopko vessel will be responsible for more than a 50% reduction in commercial and military communications lagtime between the colonies of central Hanstone - well worth the price in the Directorate's eyes.

Its a fair point, and I have thought about this, for near to 23 or so years of playing Traveller, and in the last 8ish or so years of running this campaign - Terrans and their immediate colonies/heirs in the Traveller timeline tend to do away with a lot of luxuries in space and share facilities, etc., making them 'more efficient'. By the 3rd Imperial era of Traveller, Impies tend to see Solomani as unnecessarily Spartan in their design ethics.
Rolling back to my campaign, the Spartan ideal is even stronger, the closer you get to Earth, where the Terran Confederation is still playing 'catch up' to the incredibly immense and ancient Vilani Empire. Neu Samara, settled initially by Russians, Czechs and Poles right at the beginning of Post Nationalism on Earth, has already diverged to something that'll be more recognizable some 3 millenia later, most notably because of the Lev Berg mutiny.
The Lev Berg, which the weasel-morphs of my campaign, tracked down and helped Neu Samara restore and claim as its flagship, was an ex front line cruiser refitted for deep wilderness exploration - Think Galactica, but without the Galactica's ... luxuries? The crew was crammed in for years at a time, crowded by all the extra gear and supplies necessary for operating 60 to 100 lightyears (20-30 jumps) away from the nearest frontier base.
Morale was horrible, and some russian wag with delusions of grandeur, memories of Battleship Potemkin, and Mutiny on the Bounty, managed to wrest control of the ship from the command staff - After a firefight with its sister ship, the Dimitry Anuchin, the Lev Berg jumped with damaged life support, a brain drain of specialists who were either killed or refused to serve under the new captain, and an active on board counter-mutiny. 70 years later, following a large number of clues, Napolen and Muon Minsk found the Lev Berg a floating graveyard practically in Neu Samara's backyard - still more than 3 lightyears from the nearest star and in dire need of 'patching up' before it could fly again.
So, in short, the Directorate has private bathrooms primarily for morale within the Navy.
Guests, privacy - though this is less important in a military ship, true, but it does help with morale when dealing with multiple week spans outside of conventional 4 dimensional space, and last but not least, ease of retailoring 'facilities' for a variety of different species/biologies/idiologies etc. By the time you have cheap(ish) fusion power, some ships, especially Navy, tend to get a few perks.
The Directorate's Orbital Kommandos, on the other hand do have maximized shared facilities, bunk rooms, etc. They take up about the same amount of space total when you set aside room for exercise, drilling, firing ranges, etc.
While The Directorate is almost completely human, there are the Minsk, and occasionally Krixteatlan, Ashullan, or Espic envoys, state guests, delegates and scientists all have a fair to middling chance of being ferried in and out of Directorate space on one of these ships if a destroyer or cruiser isn't available.

Thankies - I wanted it to be the natural cultural and technological successor of the Weasel class, though that one seems to have more living space (if only 2 crew staterooms).
I'm thinking that Onopko captains that aren't hauling around lots of cargo will convert one of the two cargo spaces into additional living space/luxuries/basketball court.
