Weird is that which I don't like.
Technically, you can draw quadrupedal ponies. The question, I imagine, is whether you can draw them to look the way you want.
And I don't know if "the way [I] want" even applies to anthro ponies, because I've always found them to look a little strange, regardless of how well-drawn. I guess it's just harder for me to get over it if I'm the one who drew it.

You are right, I could draw quadrupedal ponies if I wish.
Have to spend more time on them.
Most of the stuff I don't like is proportional, the ponies are too long.
That problem would go away if I kept drawing them but Anthros seem to do what I want.
I have to ask them nicely though.
I drew anthro and quad ponies for 3 months, did not submit any of them.
Looked at a bunch of tutorials, mostly stuff from Crookedtrees.
Most of my 2d stuff was landscapes so it was quite a climb.
The first pony I did was Pinkimena and that was a pain because she was so small.
There was barely enough room to work.
The first time is cool because its like a test run but if you keep banging at it, you will get better.
I am not into making things exactly, I figure if I make enough of the things that make a char recognizable, its good enough. My first Celestia picture was not the best but I think she is recognizable.
The next picture should be better.
My ponies look too fat, think they eat too many lemongrass and cheese knishes but if I keep drawing them, I will get them to slim down.
Learn from this picture and use it to help you do the next one better.
The trick is to keep breathing, um, making more ponies.
