Trying a new medium. Done with acrylic paints, though I treated them more like watercolors. Very happy with how the water and reeds turned out.

The thing behind him is supposed to be an embankment with fields on top, it turned out looking more like a wall though, so I ran with that.

Since I'm just trying these out, the materials are a little cheap. I may have to get nicer brushes though, since the shedding is inconvenient. Colors I have are red, yellow, blue, black, and white, so a lot of color mixing to get what I need for a piece like this, which is half the fun for me. :)
