Another Jaquera piece from my project this past semester~ :D
I finished this piece for a class that I am developing the story for these critters in, looooooooooot of work but well worth it. These two are mother and daughter! Wayra (mother) and Chani are Fauquera, a subspecies of Jaquera that inhabit the deep jungles and rainforest regions. This particular subspecies is the most unique out of all of the Jaquera due to their feet. Instead of the single hoof, they sport a paw with the two middle digits being hooved toes and the thumb/dew claw is more like a raptor claw. This all spurs from evolution to adapt to the environment they live in. This also makes them some serious hunters because of those unique feet and their agility.

While her mate, Teka ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/4020549/ ) is off hunting, Wayra is left to tend to the home and family, and entertaining her young foal isn't the easiest job lol~
