Been a while since I've submitted something to do with my Jaquera~ @ n @
I finished this piece for a class that I am developing the story for these critters in, looooooooooot of work but well worth it. This lovely lady here is a Carraquera, a subspecies of Jaquera that live in arid climates - namely the desert. They tend to be nomadic traders and herders with cultural influences from Saudi Arabia, India, Greece, and Egypt. This particular female is the mother of Murasa - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5100340/ of course, this is her in her younger days~

She is called Mahara and her last name is pronounced me-neigh (no pun intended), and her particular tribe raises and herds camel to sell at markets. Mahara is in charge of the calves and mothers in the herd, along with milking said camels. At some point I intend to draw her in her camel racing outfit~ <3
