At first I was worried that mom was going to be a 'bad' mom but this helps. I always imagined her as someone who would be meekish when it came to her husband.

Fun stuff, might want to use a few less exclamation points but overall nice.:)

In my mind, Ziggy's mother is an ambiguous woman. She was not really cruel to her daughter but doesn't protect her against the husbands' misdeeds.
