One of my odder projects. I finished this beastie just in time to wear it for the day of photos that were in the paper. Unfortunately none of the pictures taken showed this critter terribly well.
The dragon is wire core with fabric skin. The front and hind quarters are 18 gauge steel wire core with lots of 30 gauge steel wire to sculpt it. The middle area is 18 gauge steel with lots of paper towel wrapped around it to bulk it up. The horns, claws, whiskers and tail spade are wire. The spinal ornaments are multiple lines of beads.

That's fine. My parent's puppy is in that stage too. She can destroy anything.
Let me know if you would still be interested after your dogs are out of their teething stage. Best of luck with the teething, to protect things like cords (and bed posts), try a mix of cayenne pepper and eucalyptus oil, works infinitely better than the commercial anti-chew stuff. I use that mix to keep my parent's puppy from trying to eat my ankles and the bottoms of my pants.
