I think we were all taken aback by just how dark the season finale got, and the prime reason for that was undoubtedly the Changelings. I didn't think it was possible, but Chrysalis actually felt more imposing than Discord. DISCORD! WTF?!

One of the best things about her and the Changelings is the simple fact that now when you go back and see a pony double in the background... it was a Changeling coming to get a meal.

Also she's just cool looking.
