Another of my mini-critters. I included the picture with the ribbon spool to show just how miniature.

The saddle was a whole lot of fun to do. Its never a good sign for a project when size 11 Delica seed beads are borderline too big for the animal. Both parts of the saddle are wire and beads in the horizontal dream catcher pattern I love doing so much. The upper part of the saddle was the most fun to construct. The side pieces are 3mm bugle beads done in a similar pattern. The design is loosely based on a number of pictures I have seen of Indian and Balinese elephant saddles...very loosely.

The figurine is wire core with fabric skin. The tack is leather with beads and wire ornament.
